Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents named her Winona for her home town. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father came from a Jewish family Ryder believes she is Jewish. Ryder is the younger sister of Uria and two half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder moved with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They was in a house that didn't have electricity. Television books was her only source of entertainment for her time, and she was a voracious reader. Ryder began to take acting classes in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged 12. She landed her debut role on the large screen in 1986 aged 15 years old. young. Ryder had to deal with bullying throughout her high school years. Ryder hoped the acting profession would alter this. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. But she continued to pursue her goal. In 1988, she got her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to play successful roles in various films. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her part as a character in The Age of Innocence (1993).
